I'm 9 months old

I weigh 22 lb 6 oz and am 29 inches high. I am now in the 75 percentile for height, weight and head circumference!

I am crawling around like a paratrooper – not a stealth mission though – you can hear me thumping down the hall usually going after the cat’s food bowl. It took me a few weeks of practice to figure out how to move from a sit position to a crawl but now I am a pro. Who wants to crawl on their knees? The low profile version allows me to get under couches and get stuck behind armchairs.

I can pick up cheerios like a pro. I sometimes manage to get one in my mouth – but I prefer stroking them lovingly or feeding them to Mummy to actually eating them!

I love yoghurt – you can hide almost anything in it and I’ll eat it.

I still am obsessed with the cat and one day soon will actually catch up with her. She has hissed at me once but is generally easy going and allows me to pat her (aka grabbing handfuls of her fur).

I love to be read to. I will sit still – or rather sit back and rock forward, crawl towards book, back to sit (repeat for entire book) – mesmerized by the pictures. My favourite book is “So Big” – featuring Baby Elmo.
