Nana and Gramps return from Italy

After returning from a 3 month stay in Italy, Finn’s Nana and Gramps came to see him and retrieve their car (graciously loaned to Finn’s parents….or was it a plot to get Finn’s parents addicted to having wheels?).
Finn was born just after Italy won the World Cup last year. Finn’s Nana thoughtfully brought him an Azzuri jersey.….too bad his Dad was cheering for France.

birthday party!!

Finn's first birthday was great fun. Uncle Tom and his friend Amy came up from NY and Uncle Stephen, Aunt Neerja and cousins Ishani and Samarra came in from Ajax to celebrate. The outdoor picnic was a bit touch and go with dark clouds looming overhead but despite a few drops of rain (fended off by umbrellas for all) all went well. Yummy pizza and ice cream cake then rides on the carousel and train for everyone! Home for naps and present opening. Thanks to everyone for making it such a special day.

I'm 1 year old!

I weigh 25lbs 2 oz and am 30.31 inches long. Last year at this time I was only 8lbs 3 oz and 22 inches long.

I love to push my high chair around and around and around the dining room.

I can do the sign for “more” and taught myself the sign for “hat”.

I love going down the slide at the park and then crawling back up it (with help).

I giggle and scream with joy when pushed on the swings.

I wave at everyone and everything – Hi tree, Hi flowers, Hi Lady!
