I'm 18 Months Old

I’m eighteen months old. I’m now 85cm tall and 12.5 kg. We didn’t check my head circumference this time, but I’m pretty sure it’s just the right size. My vocabulary is growing by leaps and bounds – my new favourite word (and oft-convenient stall tactic) is “hug!” I’ve added to my politeness repertoire to include “dhnkghu” (that’s thank you). I’m also becoming quite good at helping out – putting away groceries and helping to feed the cat – but she still isn’t sure if I’d make a good friend or not. I’ve learned how to “smile” on command – which makes it difficult for Mummy and Daddy to take a decent picture of me. I like to name body parts: "eye" "ear" "moust" "head" "hair" "hand" "leg" "toe" "foot" and I LOVE to wear Daddy's glasses - don't I look smart?

Visits

While in Chelsea we were able to visit with old friends (that statement is becoming more and more true- sigh). Karl, Caryn, Adriana and Oliver showed us how to really have fun. Finn learned it's hard to give presents - especially if you would love to have them yourself.

Next a visit to the Children's Museum with Kristina, Chris and Will. We spent most of our time in the buses and cars. With brief interest in the fake food area!

Boxing day

Next to Chelsea for Boxing day turkey with the works (Finn loved the stuffing best - obviously takes after his mother). Presents with he whole gang including Neerja, Stephen and the cousins Samarra and Ishani.

Christmas 2007

Another successful trip back to the Ottawa area. Perth for a tasty vegan Christmas, some unsuccessful toboganning, and some present opening with Nana, Papa, Aunty Elisabeth, Bunn (Bryan) and Poppy (the puppy).
