We were at a baby store last week and Finn was being Finn - his usual quirks and eccentricities on display when the clerk asked if we were recording his cuteness for posterity. So here we go:
Finn beeps when he backs up - like a truck. All the time, every time. Beep, beep beep......
Finn is now speaking in 2 or 3 word "sentences". His first sentence was Loco .....sleep. Took us a while to figure out that he was actually saying 2 words together as there was always a long pause between the two words....I guess he's like his father that way. Now no more waiting. Just full on words strung together.
Finn is repeating almost everything we say. When a word is too long for him (not that we use antidisestablishmentarianism on a daily basis or anything) he corrupts it in his own "Finny" fashion. Banana - bana, applesauce - applewawa, Saturday night - saday night, leprechaun - con. You get the picture.....
Finn loves to practice sleeping. For a kid who just recently figured out how to sleep through the night (don't even get me started- we still go to bed each night expecting the worst) - sleeping used to be his natural enemy. Now he loves to "pretend" to sleep everywhere with everything. It makes me think about cleaning floors much more often.
